Project
The Radiation Oncology project will extend the existing Jim Carney Cancer Centre at Whangārei Hospital.
The new facility will include state-of-the-art treatment rooms, with two linear accelerator bunkers and a CT scanner room on the lower floor. These treatment rooms will be partially underground, with thick walls and a concrete roof up to twometres thick.
