Project
The $619.5m QEII Hospital Expansion will increase hospital capacity through an additional 112 beds and expansions to the outpatient services, medical imaging, medical records, and maintenance areas, and the new multi-storey carpark will deliver an additional 1379 parking spaces over eight levels.
The QEII Jubilee Hospital project forms part of the Queensland Government’s Capacity Expansion Project (CEP), the largest ever investment in Queensland Health history with a $9.8bn budget forecast across 15 hospitals.
The project scope includes:
- a new 5 level clinical services building
- more beds and medical wards
- expanded surgery and intensive care units
- expanded support services, such as pharmacy,pathology and kitchen
- new central sterile supply department
- renovations to our existing hospital buildings
